The entire team is sitting in a row; the students are flushed against the mirror, discovering wonderful things, a sense of truth and honesty. The exercise asked us to play with our hands and fingers, to feel the moment, the fun and energy in the air. We were essentially asked to release the known and mundane into an infinite world. I knew I did it, because I felt dazed and had a floating sensation, and then I heard Nadine say "look at Sapir." It was as if that compliment and feeling gave me superpowers, like I could do anything. It was the ultimate sense of satisfaction.
That exercise has been with me ever since. I compared it to life itself and here I am now, seven years later, and I still remember and cherish that perfect moment. This seemingly simply exercise was simply genius.
That exercise was a breakthrough in thinking for me, enabling me to see and appreciate other things in life. It was in that moment that I realized that I was going to make dancing an integral part of my life. Ever since then, those magical moments of floating and euphoria accompany me every morning, during the company's daily work. I have been blessed… Thank you!
